Like many other European immigrants, Theodore Bracht decided to settle in this country and make a home for himself and his family.
1867. On September 1st, Theodore Bracht founds "Th. Bracht y Cía.", the origin of the present Sociedad Bracht, to export commodities to Belgium.
1874. With the expansion of its activities and the organization of financial services, the company consolidates when Theodore´s brother, Alberto Bracht, joins in.
1891. To the exports of wool, leather and tallow, and the existing financial and commercial transactions, the firm adds investments in land.
1940. Bemberg and Bracht form a firm called Consorcio CICA- Bracht, which traded, subscribed and distributed countless national, provincial and municipal debt issuance certificates, including debentures and shares for over 2 billion pesos of that time.
1967. The firm celebrates its first 100 years of uninterrupted operations in the country. Under the form of a stock corporation called Bracht S.A., the firm has diversified its activities to provide services to farming and industrial companies, service companies, fisheries, etc.
1988. After Mr. Alfredo Bracht´s death, the fourth generation of the family takes over the company.
1994. The company rearranges its structure to the new realities of the country and expands its services to include Administrative Outsourcing and Consulting services for Small and Medium Enterprises and foreign companies' affiliates.
1997. Sociedad Bracht celebrates its 130 years of uninterrupted activity in Argentina and specializes in SMEs and Administrative Outsourcing for the affiliates of leading multinational companies settled in the country. 2000. Today, the company pursues the same professional strength and family tradition, and has evolved into new undertakings and services looking at the future with the same values that have characterized its unparalleled history for over a century. |
